During my backpacking trip, I stumbled upon a gem of a hotel located in the outskirts of Kyoto. the accommodation offers a free shuttle service from the train station, making it easy to travel. the rooms are beautiful, with a private open, air bath that provides a relaxing and comforting experience. You can also soak in the onsen, style public bath after a long day of exploring. the location is fantastic as it's near a shopping mall and bus station, and you can easily cross the street to take buses for further sightseeing.
The dinner reservation process can be confusing as it needs to be pre, booked separately before arrival.

The private open-air bath in the room was definitely the best aspect of my stay. It was so relaxing to have a soak on my own without worrying about other people being around. Plus, the room also had an indoor bathroom, which was great. Another thing I liked was the free shuttle bus service from the nearby station. It made getting to and from the hotel really easy. , the shopping mall and bus station across the street were really convenient.
I had to contact the hotel directly and arrange it myself. It was a bit of a hassle.

During my Christmas stay, I was impressed by the private open-air bath in my room. The bath was spacious enough for two people and allowed for complete privacy. The room also had an indoor bathroom, which was very convenient. Additionally, I enjoyed the free shuttle service that the hotel provided. It was easy to reserve and made getting to the hotel from Ishiyama station a breeze. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, with a shopping mall and bus station right across the street.
The only downside of my stay was that I had to contact the hotel separately to reserve the seafood dinner. There was no option to do so on Booking.com. However, once I did make the reservation, the dinner was delicious and well worth the effort. my experience at this hotel was very positive, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and private getaway.

We had a great time at this hotel. Best aspects were the private open-air bath, which was perfect for relaxing in privacy, and the free shuttle bus service that made it easy to get to the hotel from nearby transportation hubs. The indoor bathroom in our room was also spacious and well-maintained. Additionally, the hotel's location was very convenient, with a shopping mall and bus station just across the street.
